Across a journey through the city, artists present works that engage in dialogue with the local environment and invite viewers to see their surroundings from a fresh perspective.
The Biennial will open on May 23, during the Night of Museums, with an evening full of surprises: artist encounters, a treasure hunt for younger audiences, and a participatory dance performance. Throughout the Biennial, a rich program invites everyone to experience art differently, with nature workshops, talks, open-air film screenings, yoga sessions, and guided tours. The closing event, held during the European Heritage Days, will transform the city into an open stage, where concerts, performances, and shows will echo the artworks on view.
By highlighting the richness of the region, the diversity of contemporary creation, and by multiplying opportunities for encounter, the Évreux Biennial aims to encourage a slower gaze, rekindle a sense of observation, and reinvent our relationship to the world together.
