Julien Tiberi
Julien Tiberi was born in 1979 in Marseille and lives and works in Paris.
Not only a graphic artist, Julien Tiberi is also a sculptor, painter and musician, driven by the desire to reveal underlying forms through the continuity and dissonance of his works. For the artist, the history of drawing constitutes an inexhaustible reserve of materials, subjects and representations. Heavily influenced by quantum entanglement, Tiberi’s recent works echo each other, both in the forms they take and the issues they seem to address, in an attempt to capture the disparate elements of the creative process.
Julien Tiberi’s works have been exhibited at La Salle de bains, Lyon (FR), la Tôlerie in Clermont-Ferrand (FR), the Parasol Unit Foundation for Contemporary Art in London (UK), the Center for Contemporary Art FUTURA in Prague (CZ), the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Bucharest (RO), the Languedoc-Roussillon FRAC in Montpellier (FR), the Villa du Parc in Annemasse (FR) and at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris (FR). His œuvres are included in the collections of the Champagne-Ardenne FRAC in Reims (FR), the Corsica FRAC in Corte (FR), the Languedoc-Roussillon FRAC in Montpellier (FR) and the Provence-Alps-Côte d’Azur FRAC in Marseille (FR).
