BIFURQUER

"Pour aller où l’on ne sait pas, il faut passer par où l’on ne sait pas."
Juan de Yepes (Saint Jean de la Croix)

Forking, a new edition of the way of  making art, the twentieth, pursues this ideaof an artistic journey in the territory of Pont-Scorff, the journey from one work to another, the meeting of a project inscribed in sites, unique places belonging to the heritage, history and memory of the city. Bifurcation involves movement, mobility, allowing a change of course, attempting the pleasure of misguidance. It is perhaps also the faculty of not being fixed on a fixed idea, to move our point of view, grazing the edge to surprise the unknown near or far. In an artistic practice, the author can give up a path already traced, give up one direction for another and risk the experience of the gap, the untagged detour, the unexpected ... and always on the lookout , in search of impression, sensations, ideas on the way ... The exhibition brings together eight artists whose works, drawings, photographs, videos, paintings and installations affirm a plurality of sensibilities and the singularity of the points of view. It is designed as a ride and invite visitors to be surveyors.
